The articles by Bin Liang and Hong Lu are contradictory and could not be used do to the lack valid information. This is due to China not allowing information to be public, Socialism does not allow citizens to free rights to spread rumor or do not have the right to publish information on the internet. This is spoken of in 2 Corinthians 4:4 The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is. Therefore, freedom of democracy is best (KJV). Research databases or articles assist law enforcement with policies by determining if the departments policies are adequate or if they need to change. If the officers need to focus on certain types of law enforcement or if they need to transition into an open dialogue type of law enforcement.
As a Criminal Justice leader, the National Crime Victimization Survey does give me reason for concern because it provides to us the information that officers are missing on the streets (Langton 2012). Although law enforcement officers are doing their best to protect the public, they are also missing a lot. The information in the NCVS is limited in the information provided the NCVS doe not provide all information needed for law enforcement to assist and it is only provided to a limited group that assists to give law enforcement officers an estimation of crimes. It also determines that not all victims are providing information to law enforcement officers and they are not receiving assistance that is provided when reported to officers like victim services and prevention services.
The NCVS is being provided by victims which is mostly accurate and UCR and NIBRS are reported by law enforcement and it has parameters that may prevent all crimes reported. The UCR is in the victim’s words and gives law enforcement a more accurate estimation of crimes committed as not all crimes are reported to law enforcement (National).
The “Snitches End Up in Ditches and other Cautionary Tales” cause me to act with caution as this is sometimes is true and we are here to protect our informants. This causes concern as most offenders like to say this and sometimes it rings true and these informants are helping law enforcement.
