St Petersburg College Myers B

Post A)

I took the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator questionnaire and got INFJ with the breakdown as follows. Introvert(41%), iNtuitive(19%), Feeling(19%), Judging(25%).I have moderate preference of Introversion over Extraversion (41%), slight preference of Intuition over Sensing (19%), slight preference of Feeling over Thinking (19%) and moderate preference of Judging over Perceiving (25%). I think that this matches me very well when reading about how this type breaks down. In order of my type I can relate to why i got eat letter. I tend to not really want to do things with other unless I’m in the mood I will normally want to be in my own bubble at home. I do seem so have a high concern about my relations with individuals and sometimes mistaken for an extrovert because to others i seem outgoing and I am genuinely interested in people. I am a huge empath as well which seems to be a known trait among this type. I also read that we tend to be able to express things in writing better then words and that resinated very well with considering I feel that way when explaining things. INFJ’s tend to thrive in Public Service and our “systems” are founded on human beings and human values which i think translate well for the field I’m in.

Post B)

After taking the Myers-Briggs type questionnaire I found that I am INTJ, this means I am 6% introvert, 16% intuitive, 28% thinking and 44% judging. According to this I am original and great at implementing ideas and achieving goals. I am also quick to see patterns in outside situations and able to develop long term growth. With this personality type INTJs make good managers but must take the time to prove this. Along with being good managers they excel at technical/science and social service careers. I find myself to be very open minded and imaginative, which I think all good leaders should possess these qualities. In my current place of work it is crucial to adapt and rebuild in our ever changing work setting. Many times a day I am forced to be intuitive and make a judgement that could mean the difference between life or death. I take this responsibility very seriously. Constantly I am pushing the introverted part of me to step up and do what is not always in my comfort zone. I hope as a leader I can build on my strengths and better my weaknesses.
