I’m studying for my Writing class and don’t understand how to answer this. Can you help me study?
This week we will discuss what you learned from this course and most especially the residency. As I stated at the Residency Weekend, I am very proud of all the hard work you all put into your presentations. Our class basically put together a mini dissertation in a single weekend! A topic was selected, research was conducted, data was analyzed, visualizations were created, findings were discussed (compared and contrasted), and conclusions were stated based on results.
What did you learn about yourself during the residency weekend? What was the hardest part of the Residency Weekend? What was your overall experience from the Residency Weekend?
I have attached the syllabus to write about what I have learned from this course.
Follow are the activities we did in residency.
1. Group Residency Research Topic
Write a short paper discussing the application of this course to your work environment. Address the questions listed below in your paper:
- How will you apply the skills acquired from this course to your job?
- How will this course assist you in your professional or/and academic development?
- If the skills acquired in this course will not directly apply to your job environment, in what other ways are you hoping to apply them to your personal or academic portfolio?
Your research paper should be at least 1 page (Minimum 250 words), double-spaced, have at least 2 APA references, and typed in an easy-to-read font in MS Word (other word processors are fine to use but save it in MS Word format). Your cover page should contain the following: Title, Student’s name, University’s name, Course name, Course number, Professor’s name, and Date.
Please include these activities under what we have learned in residency.
