Multimodal Public Argument an

For this project, just keep it really simple. Focus on a specific audience and create something that has a clear message — this could even be a really simple poster about littering or something like that. The main thing is to create something that looks professional and then analyze it using the concepts we have discussed

I will upload the rubric and some examples

For the infopraphic, I will link a specific publisher to work on

just keep it really simple. Focus on a specific audience and create something that has a clear message — this could even be a really simple poster about littering. The main thing is to create something that looks professional and then analyze it using the concepts we have discussed. My general topic is pollution. However, on this assignment it will be about littering (part 1, which is the infographic, and part 2, the reflection)

For the reflection:

1. Can you provide some evidence that talks about the large amount of trash in the world?

2. Try to focus your audience more. A global audience is FAR too big for this class. Think about where a poster like this would be placed. Is it really professional enough to be sent to governments and environmental agencies? For whom would this argument work?

3. When you talk about logos, ethos, and pathos, make sure you talk about specific choices you made in your poster to appeal to those aspects. This is how you show that your poster is successful. For example: What exactly did you do to appeal to pathos? What colors did you use? What pictures? What wording?

4. Put the general description of the argument earlier.

For the poster: 1. Try to make this look more professional. If you use a site like Canva.com, you should be able to see some templates that will make this look better. Right now, the wordart makes the poster look less credible because the style has too much variation. If you use a Canva.com template, you can still use the same wording and picture, but the background and text will appear to be more professional. For the reflection:1- Can you provide some evidence that talks about the large amount of trash in the world?
