Typically, when we read informational text full of facts and details, we can notice a dominant pattern of organization which helps to unpack an author’s main idea, main subpoints, and important details. In Dweck’s article, she is defining and giving examples for both fixed and growth mindsets. She focuses on the difference between the two, the causes, as well as effects, and she even provides solutions to increase the possibility of more young people developing an advantageous growth mindset.
